Leticia Azpeitia Regulez
What’s your name, and how’s your path so far?
My name is Leti, originally from Madrid, though I’ve spent the last years exploring the world. What was meant to be a 9-month stay in Vienna turned into 5 unforgettable years, where I built amazing friendships, discovered incredible career opportunities, and took my first steps into the gaming industry.
With a multifaceted background in Marketing, Advertising, and HR Management, I deeply value communication, human connections, cultural diversity, and continuous learning.
Life later brought me to Gibraltar, where I grew both personally and professionally, gaining expertise in HR and solidifying my place in the gaming world, a fast-paced, exciting, and ever-evolving industry that never gets boring.
For the past year, I’ve been part of GiG, back in Spain, where I continue to learn every day, connect with inspiring people, and experience the industry from a fresh perspective in a truly multicultural environment.
How would you describe your role?
At GiG, I work as a Senior Recruiter. While my core expertise lies in Marketing Analytics, I also recruit highly technical IT profiles constantly evolving roles that represent the future of the industry. I truly enjoy interviewing talented professionals, learning from each conversation, and connecting people with the right opportunities.
Beyond recruitment, I contribute to initiatives around employee engagement and retention, which I believe are just as crucial for a company’s success. I collaborate closely with managers across different locations worldwide, focusing on building strong relationships as the foundation for attracting and retaining talent.
My role also includes organising internal events and team-building activities to strengthen workplace culture, as well as conducting market research on salaries and industry trends. In short, I see myself as a collaborative professional whose mission is to attract, retain, and enhance internal talent while helping create a positive and dynamic environment.
What’s the culture like at GiG? – In your opinion, what makes GiG a great place to work?
It’s a culture where every employee has a voice. There are frequent satisfaction surveys, and colleagues’ ideas and proposals are genuinely listened to. I also find the leadership team very approachable. They come to the office, sit down with everyone, chat, and show real interest in people’s well-being. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, without emphasising seniority differences, which is highly valued and helps create a comfortable and supportive work environment.
